Aadhira's eyes widened at this statement, she knew it would be difficult to make them sign those papers but she did not expect this.

"Why?"Aadhira yelled to Dev's despair. He never liked anyone raising their voice at him, not even his wife. He never tolerated it but somehow, he let this slide off. His sons weren't shocked at this, they knew their father always had a special soft spot for her.

Arjun intruded," Aadhira, Dev Jiju is right" He took her hand in his and sighed. He knew she would need a good explanation for this. His little lioness would never tell him but he knew what she actually felt.

He took her to the garden, and sat her down on the swing present there, "Mamashri", before she could continue any further, Arjun wrapped his arms around her. That was all, she reciprocated it not continuing with her words any further.

They stayed like this for god knows how long until Arjun broke the comforting silence, " Aadhira, I know this is overwhelming for you. Mujhe pta h ki tum unpe bahut gussa ho and I want to tell you that your anger is completely justified. But just listen to me this once Aadhira. Bas this time."

Aadhira nodded her head, her mamashri never asked her for anything. Never even stopped her from doing anything but instead when she made mistakes, he never scolded her but sat down with her and fixed them. He was indeed a father figure in her life, though her own father abandoned her but he never left her side. No matter what happens.

"Apni family ko ek mauka de Aadhira, woh sach me guilty feel Kr rhe h. Woh sach me tujhe miss krte h, utna hi, hit a tu unhe krti h" Arjun's eyes glistened with unshed tears. It was hard for him to let go of his child, whom he raised for the whole of his life. He was attached to Aadhira, more than his own boys. His boys were brats but she...she was his Princess.

"Mai unhe miss nhi krti" She spoke in an offended tone, fiddling with her fingers at the same time. Arjun chuckled at her behaviour, she couldn't even lie properly to him. Though she's been a pro in this in front of him, she always failed to show her talent.

"Tabhi unki photo apni personal journal me rkhti h na? Kyu?" He smirked while Aadhira's eyes widened. How did he know?

"Tera mama hoon mai, sab jaanta hoon.  Bada kiya h aakhir tujhe, itna toh smjhta hi hoon ki Tu kis waqt kya soch rhi hoti h" He ruffled her hair playfully, asking with hopeful eyes "Tu sunegi na meri baat?"

Aadhira had already said yes and had no other option other than listening to him. Honestly, she herself wanted to see how her so-called family would treat her. It's not like anytime soon she is gonna forgive them. If they ever asked then she'll surely make them suffer for it.

"Koshish krungi par agar mujhe zara sa bhi regret feel hua iss decision pe toh, I'll come back to you." Aadhira raised a bow while Arjun replied sincerely "Promise, nhi kahunga aur tere saath mile sabka band bajaunga"

Aadhira chuckled while they high-fived at the thought, " Par Tu try kregi" Arjun said again. Aadhira saluted him saying, "Aye Aye captain"

Arjun pinched the tip of his nose between his two fingers, while she snorted at his childish habit. He still treats her like a 2-year-old, which she is not.

Arjun forwarded his hand towards her, standing up from the swing. Aadhira took his hand happily, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

Arjun announced Aadhira's decision in the living room, where everyone was present. Nandini glared at Arjun for putting Aadhira in such a situation. She knew that Aadhira would not be able to deny him. He meant a lot to her.

"Thank you bhai" Sakshi hugged her brother in gratefulness. Dev took the papers from the table and tore them in front, showing Aadhira who was just unfazed by it.

"250(dhai sau) copies krwai h. Chain se fadhiye bahut h stock me." She smirked making his cunning smirk vanish. She was always a step ahead of him, "Har din ek bhi fadhenge toh bhi kam nhi parengi" Samarth chuckled at this. He gets a glare from his father making him shut.

"I'll get back to you on this young lady," Dev said turning his glare back to Aadhira. "Zarur" Aadhira's smirk widened knowing she at least managed to get on his nerves.

Dev just moved back to his floor ordering," Samarth show her the room. Get all the stuff you need young lady"
Aadhira just rolled her eyes, accompanied by a scoff.

"Don't mind him baccha, he's really happy to have you back" Sakshi cupped her face which annoyed Aadhira even further. But she did not remove her hands even after that," Ja Samarth, meri bacchi ko uska kamra dikha de"

Sakshi was overjoyed by her daughter's return. She wanted to make up for the lost time, not wanting to miss any moment. Aadhira turned towards her mamashri and mamishri.

Nandini came forward and hugged her beloved girl," Apna dhyaan rkhna Ira, koi bhi dikkat ho toh turant wapas aa jana. Call krti rehna. Remember, Don't take shit from anyone"

Aadhira wrapped her arms around her mami, "Don't worry mamishri. Apni Aadhira pe bharosa rkhiye" She wiped her mami's tears which had already been shed in separation. She and her mamishri were best friends. Only both of them knew, how both of them were going to stay away from each other.

She then turned towards her mamashri, who hugged her without even waiting for a second. He was already crying his eyes out, for his daughter, "Apna khayal rkhna Ira, aur mujhe bohot saara miss krna aur mai call kru toh utha lena. No keeping phone on silent"

He pointed his finger at her saying to which Aadhira nodded," Yes Dad". He was like a father to her so she never hesitated calling him Dad sometimes. She didn't know how much Arjun's heart swelled in happiness when he heard her calling him 'Dad'.

He patted her hair and kissed her forehead affectionately. She turned towards Samarth, who was standing there giving her a soft smile. She noticed everyone had already left the room.

She motioned him to take her to the room which he gladly did. When they walked through the corridor, she glanced at him, her 'shortie' brother had grown the tallest among his brothers. His cute face had turned charming with time. The gym has only added to his tough exterior. Of course, the mafia needs strength and he was made for it.

"Kitni seedhiyan h yahan?" Aadhira whined. Samarth chuckled, "Such a low stamina Ira".

Aadhira:- Haaa to ghar ke aadhe architecture me seedhi banaoge toh yahi hoga na!

Samarth:- Bas kuch aur seedhiyan baccha.

Aadhira(mumbled under her breath):- Mil jaye bas mujhe aapka architect, gadhe ko kuch aata nhi tha bas seedhi banata chala gya.

Samarth again chuckled at this. His sister had a good sense of humor as well. "Aur kya, jahan usse kuch smjh nhi aaya usne seedhi bana di, ki upar jaake toh yeh log apna dekh hi lenge"She acknowledged her previous statement.

Aadhira:- Aur maine aapko room dikhane ko bola tha, ye thodi bola tha, ki room dikhao aur meri hatya Krrr do. Ye roz chadhungi mai?

Samarth nodded innocently, opening the room of the door. As they finally reached their destination. Aadhira huffed at it, "Jaan leke hi manenge meri ye log" she knew staying here would be the worst decision, and now an addition to it.

She looked around the room, nostalgia hit her hard. "Ye waisa hi h jaisa tu isse chhod ke gyi thi" Her chain of thoughts was broken by Samarth's words.

Yes, he was right. It was still the same, the way she left it, the first and the last time she came here. They didn't even move an edge. Not even a single speck of her things. She never liked changes and this was the main reason she never wanted any changes in her room.

Her brothers always respected her wishes, when she was here. So they never made any changes to it. It was the last thing, which reminded them of her.

Aadhira nodded stiffly. "Thanks, Samarth" These words were enough to break Samarth's heart. He knew that she would never call him 'Bhaiyu' again but somewhere he had a little hope that she would. His eyes watered but he was quick to cover up the action. He wanted to hear his sister call him again by the title she had given him

Even if it was for once. As Aadhira turned back, Samarth nodded and left the room, closing the door behind him.
He let his tears slide down his face. What did he do to deserve that?
